- Apps that are simply a song or movie should be submitted to the iTunes store. Apps that are simply a book should be submitted to the iBooks Store
- Apps that display Apps other than your own for purchase or promotion in a manner similar to or confusing with the App Store will be rejected, unless designed for a specific approved need (e.g. health management, aviation, accessibility, etc.) or provide significant added value for a specific group of customers
- Apps or metadata that mentions the name of any other mobile platform will be rejected
- Apps with placeholder text will be rejected
- Apps with names, descriptions, or screenshots not relevant to the App content and functionality will be rejected. Apps must comply with all terms and conditions explained in the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines
- Apps that look similar to Apps bundled on the iPhone, including the App Store, iTunes Store, and iBooks Store, will be rejected
- Apps that do not use system provided items, such as buttons and icons, correctly and as described in the Apple iOS Human Interface Guidelines may be rejected
